Can RepairFlow invoices be used as UK VAT invoices?
Choose United Kingdom and RepairFlow sets VAT at 20%. You choose whether prices include VAT or have it added, separately for repairs and counter sales, and the invoice shows the VAT for each rate. Here is how that lines up with HMRC's invoice types:

Tax Invoicing FAQ
Does RepairFlow make VAT invoices?
Yes. Choose your country when you sign up and the right tax is set for you, for example VAT at 20% in the UK. Invoices made from a repair show your VAT registration number, the VAT rate and the VAT amount. You can change the rate and choose whether prices include VAT or have it added, separately for repairs and for sales.
Can RepairFlow invoices be used as UK VAT invoices?
They show what HMRC lists for a simplified VAT invoice (sales of £250 or less including VAT): your name, address and VAT number, the date, a description, and the VAT rate with the total. For a full VAT invoice, HMRC also asks for the VAT rate and the price without VAT on each line, which RepairFlow does not show line by line yet. Check with your accountant if you invoice VAT-registered businesses.
Does RepairFlow support the VAT margin scheme for used phones?
Not yet. Used phone sales show VAT like any other sale. If you sell second-hand phones under the margin scheme, keep your margin-scheme invoices and stock book separately for now.
Does RepairFlow file VAT returns or work with Making Tax Digital?
No. RepairFlow makes invoices and receipts and reports your takings, but it does not file VAT returns, connect to HMRC, or sync with Xero or QuickBooks. Use MTD-compatible software for returns.
Can I send invoices on WhatsApp?
In the Android app you can share an invoice as a PDF on WhatsApp. On RepairFlow Web you can send a receipt summary with the total and amount paid in one tap, and print the invoice or save it as a PDF from your browser.
Can I print receipts on a thermal printer?
Yes. RepairFlow prints 58mm and 80mm thermal receipts from the browser on Web, and over Bluetooth from the Android app. A4 invoices print from any normal printer.
What about GST or US sales tax?
RepairFlow has tax presets for 120+ countries, including GST and sales tax. Shops in India can add their GSTIN to invoices. Set your own rate and label if you need something different.
Can I try invoicing for free?
Yes. RepairFlow Web has a 14-day free trial with no credit card. Invoices and receipts are included.
